Position: Dispatcher for School Transportation Services
Manage transportation logistics as a Dispatcher for School District No. 60. This role involves dispatching buses and ensuring safe travel for students in a coordinated environment.

In this role, you will work closely with the Transportation Supervisor to dispatch drivers for school-related trips. Responsibilities include preparing maps, coordinating casual drivers, and addressing transportation issues proactively. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will help maintain seamless operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispatch school buses for both regular and extracurricular trips

• Prepare and oversee road maps of bus runs

• Track employee attendance and casual driver usage

• Consult with contractors about road conditions as necessary

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and WHMIS standards

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent required

• Preferred two years driving a school bus experience

• Valid Class 2 driver’s license with air endorsement

• Familiarity with local road systems

• Excellent interpersonal and data management skills

Lead the transportation efforts in School District No. 60 while providing a safe and efficient service for students.
