Transportation Dispatcher

Position: Transportation Dispatcher Job Opening
Exciting opportunity for a Transportation Dispatcher to coordinate bus services efficiently. This position involves dispatching and managing both regular and extracurricular trips effectively.

As part of the Transportation Department, you will work under the guidance of the Transportation Supervisor. You'll coordinate daily bus service, oversee scheduling, maintain safety standards, and provide crucial support during road condition assessments. Your proactive approach will ensure timely operations while managing day-to-day departmental tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage bus dispatch operations efficiently

• Call and schedule casual drivers for additional support

• Prepare road maps and manage permanent student lists

• Keep track of employee hours and submit invoices for services

• Assist with troubleshooting transportation issues as they arise

Requirements:

• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant driving experience

• Valid Class 2 license with air endorsement required

• Clean Driving Abstract and knowledge of safety regulations

• Strong organizational skills and computer proficiency
