Part-Time School Bus Driver

Position: Part-Time School Bus Driver Needed
Drive students to and from school as a Part-Time School Bus Driver in our District. This casual job requires a Class 2 licence and is adjusted based on departmental needs.

Under the direction of the Transportation Supervisor, you'll ensure the safe transport of students on various routes. With at least two years of driving experience, you will be responsible for the bus’s maintenance and ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Familiarity with emergency procedures is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate school buses under diverse road conditions

• Conduct thorough pre and post-trip inspections

• Report any mechanical and safety issues

• Teach students safety procedures and conduct drills

• Keep the bus clean and sanitized regularly

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 10 education or equivalent

• Clean Driver's Abstract required

• Preferred two years recent bus driving experience

• WHMIS training to be completed within probation

• Successful completion of a Vulnerable Sector Criminal Records Search
