Key Responsibilities

Responsible for performing assigned duties on container delivery and hauling of customer waste from industrial, commercial, and institutional roll-off sites

Daily route consists of driving to customer sites, secure bin on truck, empty bin at transfer station/landfill, return bin to customer site

Perform driver check-ins periodically to ensure complete and accurate paperwork completion.

Ensure that all protocols are followed while dumping loads at municipal recycling/waste facilities

Required to tarp loads

Required to be able to lift the Roll-Off hook and attach it to the bin, requires bending and ability to lift 25-50 pounds

Ensure that service is completed in accordance with established policies

May perform some additional responsibilities as assigned by the Route Supervisor/Site Manager

Required to follow all applicable Provincial and Federal transportation laws

Requirements

Must have valid Class 1 or Class 3 License with Air Brake endorsement

1-2 years driving experience in a transportation sector

Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent decision-making skills
