Position: Log Scaler for Quality Control
Join LP in maintaining log quality and regulatory compliance as a Scaler. This role involves precise weighing of log trucks and ensuring that drivers adhere to all necessary regulations.

As a pivotal member of the Scale House Team, you will assist in weighing log trucks accurately and inspect incoming logs for compliance with both LP and government standards. Effective communication and strong mathematical skills are essential for coordinating with truck drivers and off-loaders while preparing detailed reports for log yard management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weigh log trucks accurately upon arrival and departure

• Inspect logs for compliance with quality standards

• Use scaling software to manage log data

• Maintain inventory records in coordination with off-loaders

• Prepare daily and weekly compliance reports

Requirements:

• High school diploma required

• Weighmaster license/certificate needed

• Current driver's license needed

• Experience in weight scaling preferred

• Strong math and communication skills
