Job Summary:
As a Class 3 - DZ Propane Delivery Driver , you will work with our Dispatch team to deliver product safely to our residential and commercial customers. Your goal will be to provide a meaningful and essential service to our Avenir Energy customers in a safety focused environment.
Responsibilities:
Load and unload truck with propane, adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
Work with our dispatch teams to develop routes using your knowledge of geography, and the needs of our customers.
Deliver product to both our residential and commercial customers in a safe and efficient manner.
Complete daily pretrip/post trip inspections and all other paperwork required.
Report any potential hazards to dispatch.
Ensure compliance with all company and government policies and regulations.
Actively participate in team meetings and discussions
Work schedule will vary - need willingness to occasionally work evenings and/or weekends
Other duties as required by supervisor.
Qualifications:
Valid Class 3DZ Commercial Driver’s license
Minimum 3years of commercial driving experience
Clean CVOR / personal driving record within Company standards.
Able to perform the physical demands of loading and unloading propane.
Experience delivering propane is required.
Knowledge &
Skills:
Knowledge of propane considered an asset.
Ability to work various shifts.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
