Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Irrigation Technician to join our team. The Irrigation Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of irrigation systems to ensure efficient water management for residential and commercial landscapes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to clients.

• Install, inspect, and maintain irrigation systems, including controllers, valves, pumps, piping, and sprinkler heads.
• Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system issues such as leaks, electrical faults, or malfunctioning equipment.
• Adjust and program irrigation controllers for seasonal needs and efficient water use.
• Conduct routine system checks to ensure proper coverage and functionality.
• Collaborate with landscape maintenance teams to support healthy turf, plant, and tree growth.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and system changes.
• Operate tools, vehicles, and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions and concerns in a professional manner.

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in irrigation installation and repair (landscape or construction industry preferred).
• Knowledge of irrigation system components, hydraulics, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manufacturer manuals.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs., work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform physical labor as required.
• Certification in irrigation (e.g., IA Certified Irrigation Technician) preferred but not required.
