San Mateo-Foster City School District is looking for Para-Educator I Extended Day (teachers assistants) substitutes to work in our after-school program. Typical hours are M, T, Th, F 2:00pm-6:00pm AND Wed 11:30am-6:00pm. This is an "on call" position. Definition:
Under general supervision, to assist teacher in planning, supervision, curriculum development and classroom arrangement, organization and maintenance; to provide instructional support and learning enrichment, using developmentally appropriate practices and materials; to monitor child safety, perform housekeeping functions, and assist in the physical care and feeding of children; and to perform related work as required.
