Job Summary

San Mateo-Foster City School District is looking for a substitute Para educator I-Preschool (teacher assistant). Under general supervision, the successful candidate will assist teachers in planning, supervision, curriculum development and classroom arrangement, organization and maintenance; provide instructional support and learning enrichment using developmentally appropriate practices and materials; monitor child safety, perform housekeeping functions, and assist with the physical care and feeding of children;

and perform related work as required.

Requirements / Qualifications
  • Proof of HS Graduation
  • CPR and First Aid certification required
  • District reading, math & writing test required; unless waived based on prior education and/or experience
  • High School Diploma required (AA degree or higher accepted)
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
