San Mateo-Foster City School District (located in the heart of Silicon Valley).
Job Summary: The district is accepting applications for a Para educator II at the Turnbull Preschool. The position is 8.0 hours per day, 2 positions, scheduled 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (1/2 hour lunch).
Team members will work closely with teachers to support preschool students, assist in classroom instruction and management, and help create a safe, nurturing, and culturally responsive environment.
Qualifications:
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Application must include a copy of your high‑school diploma; AA degree or higher may be submitted and district testing may be waived.
- Reading, Math, and Writing test required unless waived based on prior education and/or experience.
- Answers to supplemental questions (high‑school diploma) required.
Salary: $23.24 – $29.66 per hour.
Additional Salary Info: 10 paid sick days; 14 paid holidays; district contribution toward medical/dental.
Employment Type: Part‑time.
Length of Work Year: 12 months.
