Our client, a leader in the Automotive sector, is seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to join their team for a 6+ month engagement. The Audio Visual team within Client Services is responsible for all conferencing technology, digital signage, and AV services for internal company events. As an Audio Visual Technician, you will help Engineers build out new conference rooms, maintain and troubleshoot existing rooms, evaluate new solutions, and support special events.
This is a high-impact role that requires strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills, and a self-motivated professional who can hit the ground running and deliver results quickly.
- Providing support for all internal audio visual equipment including conference room displays, cameras, microphones, speakers, controllers, and cabling.
- Providing production support for meetings and live streams (All Hands, Executive Meetings, and Webinars).
- Maintaining AV support ticket queue, prioritizing urgent tickets with excellent follow-up.
- Performing physical sweeps of conference rooms and digital signage to verify functionality.
- Evaluating and implementing new hardware and software solutions.
- Troubleshooting issues in real-time during live events both in person and remotely.
- Creating and maintaining documentation for internal team processes and user-facing support articles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 4+ years in a similar audio visual or IT support role.
- 2+ years of experience running live company events streamed to multiple locations.
- Ability to maneuver tight spaces and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Experience managing Zoom Rooms and relevant conferencing hardware.
- Familiarity configuring iOS, macOS, or other meeting room controllers.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
- Basic knowledge of Windows and macOS troubleshooting as it relates to conferencing and company events.
- Experience providing white glove executive support preferred.
