Job Description

Lead - Security Operations Center (SOC) and Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT)

Manage the SOC and CIRT, part of the IT Security and Risk Management Program that impacts multiple departments, both internal and external to IT. Set goals and objectives, track and communicate status, and act as a spokesperson to business partners and colleagues on program topics.

Identify security processes and standards across IT for the SOC and CIRT that could benefit from improvement.

Propose new standards, tools, policies, and procedures to enhance security, compliance, and risk management activities for the client.

Benchmark innovative solutions to monitor progress and ensure value creation aligned with organizational goals and standards.

Lead the security design of projects with significant risk and wide-ranging implications for the business.

Report on activities, issues, and projects to senior IT management, including the effectiveness and efficiency of security activities.

Collaborate with IT, Quality Assurance, and business teams to ensure audit readiness and prepare for internal and external audits.

Review security documents and project artifacts, especially in complex situations.

Assess and manage compliance risks across the organization, escalating issues to senior management as necessary.
