SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and proactive contractor to support the FY26 Global Hackathon. This role requires prior experience managing or supporting large-scale hackathons, particularly those focused on Generative AI (GenAI). The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with strong project coordination skills and the ability to manage multiple work streams across a global footprint.
Key Responsibilities- Provide end-to-end administrative and operational support for the FY26 Global Hackathon.
- Coordinate logistics and communications across 17+ global sites, ensuring consistency and alignment.
- Develop and implement a judging methodology, including criteria, scoring rubrics, and judge onboarding.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all hackathon-related inquiries, providing timely and effective responses.
- Track milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure successful execution of the program.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including legal, compliance, technology, and regional teams.
- Provide business analyst support for other team deliverables as needed, including documentation, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
- Demonstrated experience supporting or leading hackathons, preferably with a focus on GenAI or emerging technologies.
- Knowledge of Generative AI concepts, including hands‑on experience with large language models (LLMs) such as GPT, machine learning frameworks, natural language processing (NLP), and image synthesis.
- Prior experience designing, facilitating, and administering GenAI hackathons: articulating problem statements, guiding teams through idea generation, and troubleshooting GenAI technical issues (API integration, model fine‑tuning, data preparation).
- Ability to develop and implement creative judging frameworks specific to GenAI outputs and innovations.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfortable working across time zones and cultures in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficiency with collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Excel.
- Experience with judging frameworks or competition scoring systems.
- Familiarity with Fieldglass or similar vendor management systems.
- Background in business analysis or technical program coordination.
- Experience with emerging GenAI frameworks and technologies beyond core LLMs (e.g. multimodal generation, reinforcement learning from human feedback).
The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $58.00 - $60.00/hr
. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full‑time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
