About the OpportunityTipalti is seeking a Senior Manager, SEO Growth who combines a strong technical SEO foundation with an inbound marketing mindset. You will own Tipalti’s global SEO strategy and performance, driving measurable pipeline growth by coordinating all SEO stakeholders — including internal marketing teams, web operations, content, CRO, and agency partners — under the direction of the Director of Digital Marketing. You’ll lead the end-to-end SEO roadmap, spanning technical health, content optimization, and off-page authority initiatives that expand Tipalti’s visibility across priority regions.
As part of the Global Digital Marketing team, you’ll act as the connective tissue between web, paid media, CRO, and digital PR — ensuring Tipalti dominates search and emerges in generative and AI-driven discovery environments. This includes advancing our Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) efforts to future-proof Tipalti’s search presence across Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other emerging platforms.
The ideal candidate understands how crawl health, schema, and site architecture fuel top-of-funnel discovery and mid-funnel engagement — and how evolving AI search ecosystems amplify that reach. You’ll also own the optimization of Tipalti’s core product and pillar pages, translating SEO performance into inbound pipeline growth and measurable marketing impact.
This is a hands-on, senior-level growth role for a digital marketer who can turn technical expertise into demand generation outcomes, lead cross-functional collaboration, and scale Tipalti’s organic footprint as a core revenue driver.
Responsibilities- Lead global SEO initiatives — from crawl health, site architecture, schema markup, hreflang, redirects, and page speed optimization — in close collaboration with web development and partner agency teams.
- Own the SEO strategy for Tipalti’s core product and pillar pages (e.g., AP Automation, Mass Pay, ERP Integrations, Procurement) across multiple geos, including localization and content optimization initiatives.
- Advance Tipalti’s AEO and GEO strategy to ensure visibility across AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other generative search experiences — connecting structured data, content, and authority-building for next-gen discoverability.
- Support and manage global SEO budgets — overseeing agency partnerships, tooling, and content investments while tracking ROI and efficiency against lead and pipeline goals.
- Manage a blended team of internal and external SEO contributors — including contractors, full-time team members, and agency partners — ensuring alignment, accountability, and output quality across all initiatives.
- Collaborate with Paid Search leadership to bridge high-intent keyword strategies and unify organic + paid search performance for pipeline efficiency.
- Build and operationalize an off-page SEO program (digital PR, backlink acquisition, industry citations, Wikipedia, Reddit, and high-DA finance/ERP media).
- Partner with web ops, product marketing, and CRO to test and scale SEO-driven on-page enhancements (FAQs, structured modules, internal linking, and CTAs) that improve conversion and engagement.
- Translate analytics into action by defining KPIs, measuring organic pipeline contribution, share of voice, SERP feature performance, and AI Overview wins — and using insights to continuously refine strategy.
- Create detailed project briefs for developers, designers, and content partners to implement technical and on-page changes efficiently.
- Serve as Tipalti’s go-to SEO expert for AP automation and mass payments positioning, collaborating with Product Marketing on GTM and demand generation alignment.
- 7–10 years of proven search marketing experience
, with technical SEO expertise, data-driven decision-making, and direct people management experience leading internal team members, contractors, and agency partners. - 2–3 years of experience scaling B2B SaaS or Fin Tech brands through inbound and organic growth initiatives.
