Visa is looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead strategic initiatives for foundational data assets that power Visa’s enterprise data ecosystem. Reporting to the Director of Data Production within the Global Data Office, this role will define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for one of Visa’s most critical data platforms including synthetic data capabilities ensuring compliance, stability and usability.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will drive enterprise‑wide adoption of data assets, lead technology modernization efforts, and ensure compliance with data governance standards. You will influence high‑level decisions, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and deliver innovative solutions that enable revenue growth and operational efficiency.

You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including engineering, data science, business intelligence, privacy, and governance, to deliver high‑quality data products that enable various use cases across Visa. You will also engage with business stakeholders to understand their pain points, gather feedback, and communicate value propositions. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of payment data and drive innovation at Visa.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in the office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

• Strategic Leadership:
  Own, evolve and implement the product strategies for foundational and synthetic data assets consistent with business needs and company vision
• Product Roadmaps:
  Manage the core payment data product backlog and roadmap, aligning with the overall data strategy and business objectives.
• Innovation & Technology Modernization:
  Spearhead the transformation of data systems, identifying emerging technologies and trends to enhance synthetic data generation and embracing cloud solutions to enhance scalability, agility, and cost‑effectiveness
• Vision:
  Communicate the foundational data assets product vision, value proposition, and roadmap to internal stakeholders, including senior executives, and business partners.
• Cross‑Functional Leadership:
  Collaborate with global and regional partners to understand market‑specific needs ensuring our foundational data assets are tailored to support local and global business requirements
• Work closely with Data Science and AI/ML teams to understand their data requirements, ensuring foundational & synthetic data assets are optimized for model training and deployment
• Governance & Compliance:
  Collaborate with privacy and governance teams to ensure that the foundational data assets comply with relevant policies, standards, and regulations.
• Mentorship:
  Guide junior product managers and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
• Metrics & Outcomes:
  Define KPIs for adoption, compliance, operational efficiency and monitor and report progress to executive leadership.
• Champion cloud adoption and integration of synthetic data solutions across enterprise systems.
• Support the migration of users and applications to abide by compliance requirements and facilitate the adoption of foundational data assets across Visa.
• Liaise with other business units, product leaders, engineering and other applicable groups to ensure flawless execution

Basic Qualifications:

8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
