Automation Solution Designer Job Foster City area,California USA,IT/Tech

Job Responsibilities:

Designs automation solutions by combining/integrating automation ecosystem technologies with design for security & compliance, scale, and reusability principles.

Evaluates emerging technology usage for the automation solutions and proposes solution design blueprints with potential options as needed to solve for business challenges & opportunities.

Incorporates Gilead's current technology landscape as well as various regulatory, compliance, and other critical requirements.

Conducts solution review (as needed) by interlocking with IT Architects and security teams to ensure alignment to Gilead's technology standards and principles.

Aligns with the technical development on the proposed solution design to ensure implementation feasibility and complexity.

Prior experience in designing and developing automation solutions combining/integrating multiple emerging technologies such as Process Mining Technology (e.g., Celonis), RPA Technology (e.g., Blueprism, Microsoft), Workflow Orchestration (e.g., Service Now), Document Processing/OCR (e.g., Blueprism, Abbyy, Microsoft, Google), AI/Client (e.g., AWS, Microsoft), Chatbot (e.g., Move Works, Aisera), and others.

Experience with automation solutions that connect/integrate with enterprise applications, data platforms, analytics/reporting solutions, and cloud infrastructure.

Ability to effectively engage and work within a matrix team, with experience in stakeholder management, negotiation, and influencing to drive alignment for the proposed solution design.

Proactive problem solver with strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze complex requirements and define technical/functional solutions with reusability, scalability, and compliance principles.

Excellent communication skills in both written & verbal to articulate the potential solution options to address the business needs.
