Job Description
Infosys is seeking a Technology SAP ABAP Architect
This position will require a key player in engaging with the business/functional team to provide best‑fit technical solutions while conforming to client’s and Infosys development standards. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value‑adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
- At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
- The location is Foster City, CA. The Position may require travel and/or relocation.

- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of SAP ABAP development experience, with at least 3+ years in S/4
HANA. - Strong hands‑on experience with ABAP on HANA, CDS Views,AMDP,RAP,andOData services.
- Experience with
SAP Fiori/UI5. - Proven track record in life sciences or regulated industries with GxP compliance.
- Experience in leading development teams and managing deliverables across global teams.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Dev Ops practices.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Lead the technical architecture and development strategy for SAP S/4
HANA and related systems. - Design and implement custom ABAP solutions using modern paradigms (RAP, CDS Views, AMDP, OData).
- Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce development standards, and ensure performance optimization.
- Guide and mentor a team of ABAP developers (onshore/offshore).
- Integrate SAP with external systems using APIs, BTP, and middleware (e.g., CPI, PI/PO).
- Ensure compliance with GxP, SOX, and life sciences validation standards.
- Participate in solution blueprinting, technical workshops, and architecture governance.
- Support cutover planning, data migration, andhypercare phases.
The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face‑to‑face.
