Expected compensation: 72.00 - 77.00 USD Per Hour.

Hire Art is helping an on‑demand, autonomous ride‑hailing company find a Supply Chain Materials Manager to support operations and ensure the smooth flow of materials across product development and manufacturing.

In this role, you’ll oversee end‑to‑end material management, including planning, procurement, inventory control, supplier coordination, and material flow optimization.

The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, analytical, and proactive, with a strong grasp of supply chain processes and a proven record of maintaining material availability in fast‑paced environments.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Procurement, Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, and Engineering) to align demand, share forecasts, and track supplier readiness for on‑time delivery.
  • Monitor supplier lead times and maintain order coverage based on demand and production schedules.
  • Review supplier IO plans, identify material risks, develop mitigation strategies, and elevate issues to leadership as needed.
  • Resolve operational issues related to PO coverage, invoicing, and master data management in the ERP system.
  • Track and report key performance metrics, including material availability, on‑time delivery, and delivery accuracy.
  • Support new product introduction (NPI) by aligning materials with development timelines and production ramps.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree with 4‑6 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related discipline.
  • Strong data analysis skills and the ability to interpret complex datasets for decision‑making.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets proficiency and familiarity with data analysis tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing transactions.

This is a full‑time, ongoing contract position staffed via Hire Art. The hybrid role requires three days per week onsite and is available to candidates local to the Foster City, CA area.
