Garda World Security Services is now hiring a Surveillance Global Security Operations Center Operator! Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Global Security Operations Center Operator?

MUST have at minimum two years of GSOC experience. Must be 21+ years of age. Active driver’s license and clean driving record.

What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Tell us about your strong observation skills with attention to detail. As a Security Officer – Surveillance, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalade in environments such as a security operations center, call center, parking gatehouse, and others.

• Set schedule:
  Part time, 16 hours per week.
• Monday, 6:00am – 2:30pm & Friday, 2:00pm – 10:30pm
• Competitive hourly wage of $33 / hour (Daily Pay is available for Garda World employees!)

• The individual will work in a GSOC setting assisting the GSOC manager with any tasks assigned to them during their shift.
• The Operator will be in an environment monitoring several screens.
• The Operator will use a variety of tools that range from access control and alarm monitoring systems to various business intelligence sources, open‑source media, Internet, and in‑house tools.
• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Investigate alarms and respond by sending security patrol or alerting Fire services or Police as needed.
• Conduct investigations using numerous applications to confirm or deny any accusations or events reported to the Global Security Team.
• Have the ability to multitask under stressful or intense circumstances.
• Support the GSOC Manager in the completion of necessary tasks.
• Excellent customer service is always your top priority.
• You observe, survey the area and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location.
• You provide rapid response in critical situations.
• You’re good with reading and writing detailed reports.
• You know when and how to enforce customer procedures, regulations and standards.

• You have a state security license and additional 32hr BSIS security training (additional security training can be obtained during the hiring process).
• MUST have at minimum two years of GSOC experience.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Active driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Be able to provide documentation of High School Diploma or GED.
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Be able to ace (and pass) an extensive screening process.
• Strong report writing skills.
• Good eyesight and excellent abilities to maintain focus.
• Strong proficiency with technology.
• If you have Security, Military, Law Enforcement experience – even better!
