• Develop and execute a strategic vision for the ML Performance Optimization team to enhance innovation in autonomous driving
• Lead the design, implementation, and operation of advanced ML training and inference optimization techniques
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including ML researchers and software engineers, to define requirements and make architectural decisions
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to support their career growth
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks using profiling tools and optimization techniques

• Strong experience with training frameworks like PyTorch and efficient GPU utilization for distributed model training
• Experience with GPU-accelerated inference using frameworks such as Tensor
  
  RT or Ray Serve
• Proficiency in Python and C++
• Familiarity with model compression techniques to enhance performance
• Experience using profiling tools like NVIDIA's Nsight or PyTorch's Profiler for performance optimization

• 10+ years of total experience, including 4+ years in large-scale model training or inference platforms
• Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams
