Electrical Engineer

The Electrical Engineer role would encompass electrical design and testing for the Ceramics subsegment. They would oversee developing equipment testing standards ranging from electrical screening to voltage breakdown, designing custom tests for customer inquiries, and understanding failure modes of capacitors post-test. This role would support all divisions of MLCC (multi-layer ceramic capacitors) and support everything from Development, Production, and Quality.

Serving as point of contact for the interface from New Product Development (NPD) to New Product Introduction (NPI) to manufacturing and qualification test results.

Work within the product design team to execute product design, simulations, analysis, unit testing and the release process to manufacturing.

• Design basic circuit components and make necessary calculations under the direction and supervision of engineering leadership.
• Troubleshoot circuit issues and resolve root causes.
• Test basic circuits or system components per approved test plan and procedures.
  
  Collect test results in a structures format.
• Research and analyze components for design selection.
• Communicate known issues and potential risks to the design team and work to resolve and mitigate.
• Understand company budgetary and schedule plans for the objectives assigned and maintain on time delivery for assigned project tasks.

• Preferred Electrical Engineer with minimum 2 years post-graduate industry experience
• Required BS in Electronics or Electrical Engineering
• Ability to analyze analog circuit design through simulation tools and testing.
• Experience operating production equipment, including electrical test, sort, and screening.
• Experience with failure analysis, determining method of failure and root cause
• Ability to communicate effectively , both internally and externally
• Ability to listen and comprehend situations where information is missing, analyze and determine proper course of action
• Continuous Improvement / Problem Solving
• Deployment and Monitoring of Key Indicators
