About the Role

In this vital role, you will support the maintenance and operation of the building systems inside a client facility. As a Sr. Mechatronics and Robotics Technician you’ll be a key leader in running a shift and providing guidance to fellow technicians and Control support partners.

What You’ll Do
  • Repair, maintain, and continuously improve functionality of materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems throughout the facility.
  • Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Install, maintain, and solve relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo‑eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.
  • Lead and mentor work plan for emergency repair of critical assets and training plans for Maintenance Technicians.
  • Build and close out work orders in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Cultivate positive working relationships with our Client and Operations Maintenance team members.
  • Perform other job‑related duties as needed or assigned.
What You’ll Need
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate.
  • 4 years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls.
  • Proficient using computers and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
  • Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and safety standards.
  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, National Electrical Code (NEC), and/or industrial electronics.
  • Ability to conduct preventive & procedure‑based maintenance.
  • Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programs.
  • 3 years of work‑order management.
  • Ability to use and interpret statistical equipment to run metrics such as OEE/Up‑Time to prioritize accordingly.
  • Ability to move up to 50 lbs and meet physical requirements including stooping, standing, walking, and climbing stairs/ladders with or without reasonable accommodation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate’s or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the mechanical or electrical field.
  • Previous leadership experience.
  • Previous vendor management experience.
  • Experience with robotic maintenance.
  • Experience with CMMS.
  • Certification preferred in one or more of the following: electronics, electrical, mechanical, access‑control servers, PLCs, process controls, robotics, or mechanical power transmissions.
