Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineering
As a Technical Engineer – Production, you will be a key technical partner on the shop floor, ensuring stable production, high‑performing stamping processes, and continuous improvement. You work hands‑on with presses, tooling, and production teams to solve problems, optimize performance, and drive efficiency while supporting quality and environmental compliance.
Key Responsibilities Production & Technical Support- Support daily manufacturing operations and ensure stable, efficient production.
- Provide technical support for Nut welding, Spot welding, and Arc welding processes.
- Troubleshoot stamping presses, tooling, and equipment to minimize downtime.
- Optimize die performance, material flow, and press parameters.
- Develop and implement improvements to processes, tooling, and equipment.
- Maintain technical documentation, standards, and work instructions.
- Analyze production data to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
- Lead and support CI initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, cycle‑time reduction, waste elimination).
- Drive standardization across shifts and departments to improve consistency and performance.
- Ensure production processes meet quality and technical requirements.
- Support investigations of defects, nonconformances, and customer complaints.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) in collaboration with Quality.
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
- Identify equipment performance gaps and improvement needs.
- Assist with installation, commissioning, and training for new presses and equipment.
- Ensure tooling and dies meet production and quality requirements.
- Support compliance with environmental regulations and internal policies.
- Promote waste reduction, recycling, and resource‑efficient production practices.
- Assist with environmental audits, documentation, and improvement initiatives.
- Follow core safety requirements and report major hazards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar.
- 5–7 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong experience with stamping presses, dies, and tooling
. - Solid problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis skills.
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma.
- Familiarity with environmental and manufacturing compliance requirements.
- Strong communication skills and a hands‑on mindset.
