Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Chemical Filling Operator for a chemical manufacturer in Fountain Inn, SC. This is a temp to hire role on 1st shift, working Monday to Thursday (6am to 4:30pm) with possible overtime on Fridays,anda pay rate of $17/hr.

Chemical Filling Operator Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and tend semi-automated filling equipment for chemical products.
  • Fill, package, label, and palletize finished goods according to batch instructions.
  • Read and follow production orders, GHS labels, and safety documentation.
  • Monitor machinery to ensure accurate fill levels, quality, and smooth operation.
  • Perform basic equipment maintenance, adjustments, and troubleshooting; report issues as needed.
  • Move raw materials, chemicals, and packaging supplies throughout production areas.
  • Extract and manage retains for quality and compliance.
  • Document production activity, material usage, and inventory data accurately.
  • Maintain clean work areas following OSHA, EPA, and internal EHS guidelines.
  • Coordinate with team members to meet production targets and daily workflow.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.
Chemical Filling Operator

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a chemical manufacturing or chemical-handling environment.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Understanding of chemical safety practices, including SDS/GHS requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting ability.
  • SAP and/or Excel experience preferred.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong time management, reliability, and consistent attendance.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
