** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Monitor and control access to the industrial location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized personnel in accordance with site requirements.

+ Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facility areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized entry, damaged access-control equipment, and unusual activity.

+ Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, access-control events, incidents, and shift communications in accordance with site-specific procedures.

* Minimum Requirements:

*
* + Possess at least one year of security-related experience.

+

Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

+

Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.

+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
