Tax Preparer Assistant – H&R Block

Assist with the full tax preparation interview, ensuring accurate client data entry, interview completion, and client review. Work within a high‑performing, collaborative culture to deliver superior service to H&R Block clients.

• Enter client and W‑2 information into the tax program during the beginning of the interview.
• Assemble the tax return, obtain required signatures, review the finished product with the client, and complete bookkeeping procedures at the interview’s close.
• Ensure all H&R Block clients receive superior service and satisfy all applicable state and local requirements.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reading and math skills required to begin and finish the tax return interview.
• Effective communication skills in person and on the phone.
• Experience with Windows‑based computer programs.
• Additional state and local requirements may apply.
