Join an Amazing Team as a Hybrid Senior Accountant and Shape the Future of Finance! Ascendo Resources is representing a subsidiary of a publicly traded construction company. They are at the forefront of innovation, providing cutting-edge solutions to clients and contributing to industry success. We are looking for talented Senior Accountants to join the team and contribute to the company s growth.

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close processes.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX internal controls, and company accounting policies.
• Record acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation of fixed assets.
• Prepare and file monthly SALT tax filings for Arizona, Hawaii, California, and Colorado.
• Manage posting of vendor invoices into ERP, ensuring accuracy and proper accounting period allocation.
• Oversee the import of credit card data from Concur into ERP.
• Prepare monthly upload of financial activity into corporate ERP.
• Handle prevailing wage filings, certified payroll, and other contract administration deliverables.
• Monitor subcontractor compliance with prevailing wage documentation.
• Maintain and improve accounting systems, processes, and documentation.
• Support external and internal audits by providing schedules and documentation within deadlines.
• Adhere to company policies regarding ethics, electronic communications, confidential information, insider trading, and safety.
• Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned to support the accounting department and company operations.

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA certification strongly preferred.
• Public Accounting Experience strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Thorough understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient in using accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
