Coastline College serves approximately 18,000 students, awards over 2,000 degrees and certificates, and transfers over 2,000 students to four-year institutions annually. Coastline College offers two-year associate degrees and certificates. As a designated Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI) and Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander Serving Institution (AANAPISI), Coastline College reflects the dynamic diversity of the region.

Directs, consults, plans, implements, and evaluates comprehensive services and programs that contribute to enriching student life through educational and co-curricular experiences, student leadership opportunities, and cultural and multi-cultural education. Develops and implements support structures, systems, and services that promote student access, participation, engagement, development, and success.
Distinguishing Career Features
The Program Director, Student Leadership, Engagement, and Global Citizenship serves in a specialized leadership capacity over services that are designed to enrich student life, promote student engagement, facilitate student development, increase student retention, and support participation in the college. The Program Director requires competency designing, developing, and implementing programs that enhance student development, are culturally sensitive and relevant, build the student community, and optimize student participation.
The Program Director must actively work with and engage district and school administrators, students, community
members, governing boards and foundations.
