Advanced Charging Technologies (ACT) is seeking a skilled Applications Engineer to provide hands‑on technical support and application expertise for our industry‑leading charging and energy solutions. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary technical liaison between ACT, our service dealer network, and end users‑ensuring the highest levels of product performance, customer satisfaction, and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a primary technical resource for ACT's charging products, systems, and solutions.
- Support and train service dealers and established service networks in product installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Provide functional technical support to internal teams and external customers via phone, email, and in‑person visits.
- Assist customers in resolving field service and performance issues, coordinating solutions with engineering and production teams.
- Deliver product demonstrations, application analysis, and configuration recommendations to support customer needs.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, and operations to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain detailed records of technical support cases, resolutions, and field feedback to drive product improvements.
- Contribute to documentation, FAQs, and technical bulletins to enhance dealer and customer knowledge.
- 3-7 years of experience in a manufacturing or technical environment providing application engineering, customer service, or technical support.
- Proven experience working with or supporting service dealer networks and field service operations.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, or battery charging systems preferred.
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills with a hands‑on approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to convey technical information clearly to varied audiences.
- High level of professionalism, organization, and teamwork mindset.
- Ability to travel occasionally to customer sites, trade shows, and service centers (approx. 25%).
