What You’llDo:- LeadassignedVDCprojectsfromkickoffthroughcloseout.
- Developandmaintain3
Dmodels,coordinationmodels,logisticsplans,4D/phasingvisuals,andotherproject-specificVDCdeliverables. - Performmodelcoordination,clash detection,constructability reviews,andidentifysequencingissuesorprojectrisks.
- ReviewVDCdeliverablesforquality,accuracy,consistency,andadherencetoprojectstandards.
- SupportandguideVDCEngineerswithday-to-daytechnicalwork,priorities,and deliverables.
- ServeasaprimaryVDCpointofcontactforassignedprojectsandcommunicateprojectupdates,risks,andunresolvedissues.
- Participateincoordinationmeetingsandhelpturnmodel-basedfindingsintopracticalconstructionsolutions.
- Supportlaserscanning,surveying,fieldverification,andotherVDC-relatedjobsiteactivitiesasneeded.
- ManageyourownmodelingworkloadwhilehelpingleadandsupporttheworkoftheVDCteam.
- Has3-5yearsofhands-onVDC/BIM,construction technology,modeling,coordination,orrelatedconstructionexperience.
- Hasexperiencewith Autodesk Revitand Navisworks ;experience with
AutoCAD,ReCap,Bluebeam,laserscanning,surveying,andvisualizationtoolsisaplus. - UnderstandsBIM/VDCmodeling,clash detection,constructabilityreview,coordination,andprojectdeliveryworkflows.
- Canindependentlymanagemultiplepriorities,deadlines,andcoordinationitemsacrossactiveprojects.
- Isdetail-orientedandtakesprideinproducingaccurate,high-quality work.
- Communicatesclearlyandworkseffectivelywithprojectteams,field teams,andothertechnicalprofessionals.
- Iscomfortablereviewingothers’work,providingtechnicalguidance,andhelpingmaintainqualitystandards.
- Hasahighschooldiplomaorequivalent;anassociateorbachelor’sdegreeinconstructionmanagement,Architecture,Engineering,BIM,Drafting/Design Technology,orarelatedfieldispreferred.
- Iswillingandabletovisitjobsitesasneededtosupportscanning,surveying,coordination,andfieldverificationactivities.
