PositionSummary
The Payroll Application Specialist is responsible for support, training, and maintenance of information related to Time & Attendance, Staff Scheduling, (as well as how these modules integrate with other systems). The Payroll Application Specialist will interact and communicate effectively with management, staff, and vendors.
Essential Job OutcomesPlacement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities. Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with healthcare systems, including Time and Attendance, and Staff Scheduling Systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Report Writer within the Microsoft Visual Studio Report Designer preferred.
- SQL experience.
- Knowledge of Scheduling and staffing concepts and systems.
- Working knowledge of payroll practices and CA Wage and Hour regulations; must have knowledge of scheduling practices and be able to analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement in the staff scheduling process using the application.
- Experience with analyzing data and problem resolution.
- Experience with API/Symplr preferred.
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science.
