American Traveler is hiring an experienced Telemetry RN for a night shift position requiring a CA RN license, ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications, and EPIC experience.

• Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Sunday through Saturday rotation
• Floating required
• Weekend coverage required
• Uses EPIC EMR system

• Active CA RN license required in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
• CPI Blue Card from the Crisis Prevention Institute preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in telemetry or a related acute care specialty
• EPIC EMR experience required and must be reflected in work history
• Two supervisor references required for consideration

• Provide cardiac telemetry and monitoring care, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Skilled in IV therapy, central line and PICC line management, and blood product administration
• Experience with respiratory care including BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and chest tube management
• Familiarity with cardiovascular care including pacemakers, post cardiac catheterization, and TR Band care
• Knowledge of neurological conditions such as CVA, seizure disorders, and post-TPA care
• Experience with wound care, isolation precautions, and PPE protocols
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate as travelers
• Previous employees must have a minimum 1-year gap before returning as a traveler
• Prior travel experience required for application, with exceptions as noted in the position description
