American Traveler is hiring a Telemetry RN for a 13-week assignment requiring an active CA RN license, EPIC experience, and at least one year of telemetry nursing experience.

• Work in the Telemetry unit of a hospital setting
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from , Sunday through Saturday
• Floating required
• Weekend coverage required

• Active CA RN license required in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted)
• Current certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (CPI preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care telemetry experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required and must be noted in work history
• Two supervisor references required
• Prior travel nursing experience required

• Provide cardiac monitoring and emergency response for telemetry patients, including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Skills may include IV therapy, central/peripheral line care, wound care, and management of cardiac drips without titration
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers
• Previous employees must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year to be eligible to return as a traveler
