You will remain visible throughout your assigned area, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate with staff and visitors. This role requires an armed guard card.

What You’ll Do
:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, following site‑specific policies, and responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and problem‑solve.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to deter unauthorized access and report suspicious behavior.
• Maintain accurate records and logs of activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences during the shift.
• Interact professionally with employees, visitors, and contractors, upholding Allied Universal standards.
• Operate and maintain awareness of surveillance equipment, communication devices, and other security tools as required.
• Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal procedures while performing armed patrol duties at the government location.

Minimum Requirements
:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal considers qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
