Available Shift 1: Mon-Fri: 6AM - 2:30PM

Available Shift 2: Mon-Thur: 2PM - 11:30PM

(Assignment requires long periods of standing.)

• Report alarms in accordance with client requirements, and monitor cameras.
• Greet clients, client employees, customers, vendors, and provide assistance as needed.
• Conduct internal foot patrols to check for unsafe conditions, hazards, security violations, blocked ingress/egress, mechanical problems, unauthorized persons; inspect grounds using appropriate equipment and protective gear.
• Monitor entrances/exits and provide guidance to customers and/or vendors.
• Complete daily activity reports (DAR), incident reports and logs via Securitas and client systems.
• Provide an atmosphere in which all customers, client employees, and management know their needs are being met.
• Present a good image and maintain a positive attitude toward client, public, and management.
• Operate calmly and direct persons who cause disruptions to leave the property.
• Protect evidence or incident scenes in the event of accidents, emergencies, or security investigations; set up barriers and signage, and provide direction or information to others.
• Observe and report incidents or suspicious activity to client, company management, or public safety authorities as appropriate and/or required by the site.
• Act to ensure all property removal is conducted within appropriate policy requirements and in accord with client standards.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for the assigned site.

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Security, law enforcement, or military experience a plus.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.
• Ability to interact with a wide range of individuals professionally.
• Great attention to detail and ability to remain vigilant throughout the shift.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the company’s pre‑employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Understanding of customer service and interactions with the public.
• Reliability, accountability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills to assist vendors, public, clients, and office management.
• Intermediate computer/technology skills needed to complete daily activity reports and logs via handheld devices.
• Ability to adhere to 15‑minute and lunch breaks.
• Team‑oriented and able to help achieve site/organizational goals.
• Professional organization and adherence to security operations training.
• Ability to provide high‑quality customer service in‑person, via radio, and over the telephone.
• Personal vehicle, Colorado driver’s license, and clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Colorado Springs guard card license annually.
• Ability to attend an in‑person interview and orientation.
