ABGi is hiring on behalf of one of our clients, a respected mid-sized CPA firm in Foxborough, MA, seeking a full-time Bookkeeper. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys a balance of structured work, client interaction, and variety throughout the day. You’ll play a key role in supporting a diverse portfolio of clients while working in a collaborative and client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Transactions Management & Reporting- Record all financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain general ledger entries and ensure accuracy in journal entries.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
- Assist with year-end closing procedures and tax filing preparation.
- Process payroll for multiple clients while ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and firm policies.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries regarding accounting and financial matters.
- Assist clients with financial records and support the resolution of accounting issues.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team.
- Experience supporting multiple clients simultaneously.
- 3–5 years of bookkeeping or related accounting experience.
- Strong proficiency in Quick Books and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Self‑motivated, adaptable, and comfortable managing changing workloads.
- Sound judgment and proven problem‑solving skills.
