Customer Service Representative

Overview

Our client, an energy management company, is looking for a Customer Service Representative Planner to join their team in Foxborough, MA
. This is a 12-month initial contract role and is fully onsite, so local candidates are required.

This role is based in an engineering-focused plant specializing in the production of instrumentation materials. The team is diverse, representing various backgrounds and cultures, with opportunities to take on leadership roles and to actively participate in team meetings.

• Accurately and expeditiously handle all customer inquiries and complaints, including status, production, delivery, and billing inquiries.
• Perform all order error/processing and maintenance functions for order-based and proposal-based orders.
• Coordinate with the customer regarding product selection, placement of orders, delivery schedules, and expediting.
• Proactively solve problems with customer interactions that result in positive feedback and improved relationships.
• Provide product information, which may include some technical details.
• Utilize and maintain information in systems including SAP, Quote to Cash, Intranet, SAP, Buy Automation, Extranet, Shared Drives and External Accounts Websites.

Required Skills & Experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible, with proven ability to prioritize work, work independently and meet deadlines.
• Ability to foster and maintain good working relationships with people inside and outside the company.
• Strong mediation, negotiation and facilitation skills.
• Working knowledge of computer operating systems, specifically Microsoft Windows.
• Experience with standard business application software including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Access.

Desired Skills & Experience

• SAP experience is preferred.
