Job Description & ExpectationsHendler Family Brewing Company is seeking a part time Kitchen Operations Cook for our Wormtown Patriot Place location. In this role, you’ll support daily food prep operations, maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and prepare food during taproom hours.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Prepare ingredients and assist with basic cooking tasks according to standardized recipes and prep lists
- Portion and label prepped food items for service
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to all food safety and sanitation standards
- Perform line cook duties during service, including food preparation, restocking and light dishwashing
- Assist with receiving, labeling, and storing food deliveries
- Follow direction from the taproom manager and respond to changing priorities during service
- Prior kitchen experience preferred, but we’re happy to train the right candidate
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen environment
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and good communication skills
- Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be available for part-time shifts, including evenings and weekends
