Overview
Kforce’s client, a highly successful New England company with a 30 years strong record of growth and success, is in search of a Senior Accountant. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our firm. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the financial close and general ledger functions for an assigned group of entities.
You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.
- Maintenance of General Ledger and Reporting (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual)
- Calculation of Annual CAM and TAX true ups
- Work closely with property management team in order to resolve property related issues and ensure quality reporting-Bank reconciliations
- Oversee Cash receipts/receivables for portfolio
- Review Budgets and provide feedback to Property Managers
- Lease review, interpretation and compliance
- Debt review and compliance reporting
- Partnership agreement review and compliance reporting
- Maintaining and processing quarterly distributions to partners
- Miscellaneous Partner requests related to Due diligence of properties
- B.A./B.S. degree in Accounting/Finance
- Knowledge of or ability to learn property management accounting processes, including use of any industry specific software (MRI, Yardi or similar)
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of all aspects of accounting
- Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Great time management skills- ability to prioritize responsibilities
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
