Overview

Title: Assistant Purchasing Agent - Junior •
Contract: 8 month contract through August 2026

This role involves administering fixture request and rollout programs for multiple retail brands, acting as a primary liaison between field locations, vendors, and the corporate office. The position requires managing the end-to-end order fulfillment process through Oracle, coordinating logistics for construction projects, and maintaining accurate pricing and item descriptions within internal databases. A detail-oriented professional capable of handling financial tasks such as resolving invoicing issues and generating reports, as well as providing strong interpersonal support for inquiries regarding product availability and tracking, is required.

The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills, retail knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, ideally supported by 2–3 years of experience in retail, customer service, or administrative roles.

Responsibilities

Requirements
  • High school diploma
  • Strong Microsoft Office skillset
  • 2+ years corporate experience, ideally in related purchasing area or customer service with Bachelor’s degree
Preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration or similar area
  • Oracle purchase order experience
  • Purchase order experience, including cancelling and revising PO’s, receiving proper approvals, communicating with suppliers for delivery tracking, managing the order fulfillment process for special projects and placing orders as needed.
