The Senior Product Manager is responsible for defining and supporting the delivery of desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable products across the product lifecycle. This role partners closely with Senior Management, Business Leaders, Product Owners, and cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into a clear product vision, roadmap, and prioritized features, ensuring value delivery at both the program and team levels.
MajorDuties & Responsibilities
- Review incoming product intakes and prioritize critical and time‑sensitive requests
- Own the creation, prioritization, and management of the product backlog, serving as the ultimate authority on feature prioritization
- Define and align on definition of done and support continuous flow of work at the Program layer
- Partner with Portfolio and Product Owner teams to ensure business value cascades to execution teams, including driving and approving PI/TI iteration and sprint objectives
- Lead development and execution of product strategy, roadmap, and strategic themes across the product lifecycle
- Create and manage rolling wave plans and guide products through lifecycle states
- Outline and prioritize enabler work, ensuring alignment with business value delivery
- Identify, track, and mitigate program‑level risks
- Define, track, and analyze feature metrics to monitor progress and drive continuous improvement
- Collaborate with Epic Owners to develop and manage Lean Business Cases
- Drive product innovation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in and review Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
- Work effectively across all levels of the organization with a clear understanding of roles, responsibilities, and stakeholder relationships
- Proven product management experience, managing product delivery processes (not people)
- Strong ability to define vision, roadmap, and priorities across complex programs
- Experience working with Workday
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience supporting Compensation, Benefits, Absence, and Payroll domains
- Experience with Jira and Service Now
- Familiarity with enterprise‑scale or retail environments
