Packaging / Senior Packaging Designer

We are seeking a visionary Packaging / Senior Packaging Designer to join our cross‑functional team. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the creative force driving the development of trend‑forward packaging and branding solutions that allow our global brands to evolve and thrive.

As an integral member of our creative division, you will bridge the gap between high‑level design strategy and flawless execution. You will identify and create successful brand identities and lead teams and external partners to bring these visions to life on a global scale.

• Oversee the creation of trend‑forward brand packaging across various home categories.
• Partner with product development, merchandising teams to fill lifestyle needs by product category and influence design decisions.
• Work with Sr. Product Development Managers, Trend Teams and Divisional Manager to create compelling brand packaging.
• Ensure vendor packaging quality through established approval processes and meet all deadlines.
• Create and direct brand packaging for a wide variety of products (boxes, hangtags, labels, etc.).
• Prioritize and direct designers, freelancers, interns and contractors in design and content creation.
• Follow through from conception to shelf—providing approvals, overseeing successful execution of all components before press and delivery, and communicating with product development and regulatory teams.
• Maintain strict adherence to T&A and deadlines, establish acceptable tolerances in print/color/construction and implement methods to improve efficiencies.
• Manage photography and styling requirements for packages, ensuring photo quality and timelines.
• Partner with legal/trademark administration to research new brand names and ensure all legal/trademark requirements are met.
• Perform special projects as assigned.

• BFA or related degree in design preferred.
• Minimum of 5‑8 years design‑related experience.
• Proven results managing multi‑disciplinary design teams.
• Experience guiding business stakeholders through the design process, delivering vision and adhering to brand integrity.
• Ability to think across multiple platforms including product, merchandising and new forms of brand communication.
• Strong management experience to influence, drive change and vision.
• In‑depth knowledge of design and cultural trends to develop cohesive design solutions.
• Excellent sense of color, type and style.
• Strong leadership, organizational, communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to prioritize, handle multiple projects and work well under pressure.
• Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and supporting office programs.
