POSITION SUMMARY

A bus monitor for Framingham Public School Framingham Public Schools play a crucial role in fostering a welcoming and respectful environment by communicating effectively with students and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during transit. Additionally, the bus monitor is tasked with ensuring that all safety protocols are followed, such as ensuring seat belts are fastened where applicable and that students remain seated while the bus is in motion.

By working closely with the bus driver, the monitor helps to create a smooth and enjoyable journey for all students, contributing to the overall well‑being and success of the students.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS

High School diploma or G.E.D. Certificate

CPR and First Aid certified

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of safe practices concerning bus transportation, basic record‑keeping techniques, and health, and safety regulations

Passing a CORI and Fingerprinting

SKILLS AND ABILITY
