The Goddard School is an education and curriculum-based facility where the focus is on academic growth as well as social‑emotional, physical, and cognitive development. A Teacher at The Goddard School is responsible for establishing and maintaining a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment. Teachers create appropriate and engaging lesson plans, assess progress and development of the children in the classroom, and effectively communicate with parents and families in conjunction with the entire faculty.

You must have a Professional Qualifications Certificate from the Dept. of Early Education and Care.
Responsibilities- Communicating appropriately and professionally with parents and staff.
- Providing positive guidance to children by supporting social and emotional development.
- Establishing positive and productive relationships with families.
- Ensuring a well‑run program by collaborating in developing lesson plans and building teamwork.
- Understanding and implementing Goddard’s Health & Safety procedures.
- Planning lessons and conducting educational activities.
- Arriving each day with a positive outlook and a great sense of humor.
- Assisting with a wide range of tasks as needed to ensure the success and smooth operation of the school’s daily activities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must meet the state requirements for certification in the Infant, Toddler, or Preschool age‑group.
- Meet the state qualifications and those set forth in the national hiring standards.
- Ability to respond immediately to emergency situations.

Monday to Friday, 8‑hour shifts (40 hours per week).
Certification- EEC Infant / Toddler and/or Preschool Certification (Required)
- CPR / FA Certification (Preferred)
Childcare experience: 1‑3 years (Required).
Compensation$19.00 - $24.00 per hour.
