** About the Role
** We are seeking a
** Principal Acoustic Systems Engineer
** to join our fast-paced automotive audio business. In this role, you will:
* Lead the design and development of advanced acoustic experiences for automotive environments.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and tuning strategies.
* Innovate new approaches to audio performance and user experience.
* Apply expertise in DSP, acoustics, and psychoacoustics to deliver premium sound quality.
* Conduct in-vehicle acoustic measurements and analysis to validate system performance.

** About You

* Required Qualifications:

*** 10+ years of experience in audio engineering with 5+ years focus within the automotive space
* Strong understanding of digital signal processing (DSP), signals and systems, and linear systems analysis.
* Expertise in acoustics, psychoacoustics, and transducer design.
* Experience with in-vehicle acoustic measurements.
* Proficiency in Matlab and Simulink.
* Excellent critical listening and communication skills.
* BS/MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Acoustics, Audio Engineering, DSP, or a related field.

* Preferred Qualifications:

*** Knowledge of digital/analog circuit design.
* Familiarity with advanced tuning techniques and algorithm development.

The hiring range for this position in the primary work location of Framingham, Massachusetts is: $171,200-$235,400.The hiring range for other Bose work locations may  addition to competitive base pay we offer rewards including bonus programs, comprehensive health and welfare benefits, a 401(k) plan, plus exclusive perks designed to support your wellbeing, and a generous employee discount where you can immerse yourself in our products and experiences.
