Sr. Plumbing​/Fire Protection Engineer; Design

We are seeking a talented and experienced Plumbing/Fire Protection Designer Engineer for our Northeast team, with a strong understanding of the engineering lifecycle related to facility design and construction in clean rooms, laboratories, biotech, pharma, and life sciences industries.

• Strong understanding of the engineering lifecycle related to Plumbing/Fire Protection deliverables.
• Work directly with lead engineers to design Plumbing/Fire Protection systems for Biotech and Pharmaceutical clients.
• Detailed design experience for Plumbing/Fire Protection systems.
• Layout and size equipment on floor plans.
• Understand utilities, plumbing, lab waste piping, fire protection, and related systems.
• Coordinate and interact effectively with other MEP disciplines.
• Identify deliverables, define requirements, and create design drawings.
• Develop technical specifications and layouts in tandem with project managers and engineers across multiple disciplines.

• 7+ years of facility design and construction experience in clean room, laboratories, biotech, pharma, or life sciences industries.
• Highly motivated, well organized, and demonstrates professional initiative.
• Takes ownership of assignments and can work independently as well as part of a team.
• Capable of working in a fast‑paced and challenging environment.
• Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
