• Transports patients from one area of the hospital to another as needed.
• Cleans all equipment as assigned.
• Assists other employees as directed.
• May assist with clerical work in the department as time permits.
• Receives and transports patients and visitors in a safe and timely manner to their designated destination.
• Will document request for services in order to provide an accurate and timely tracking system.
• Will maintain wheelchairs, stretchers, and all other used equipment in clean and sanitary condition, as well as proper working order (i.e., oiling wheels of such equipment).
• Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience:
  
  Patient transportation or customer service experience
• Certifications:
  
  BLS
