- Transports patients from one area of the hospital to another as needed.
- Cleans all equipment as assigned.
- Assists other employees as directed.
- May assist with clerical work in the department as time permits.
- Receives and transports patients and visitors in a safe and timely manner to their designated destination.
- Will document request for services in order to provide an accurate and timely tracking system.
- Will maintain wheelchairs, stretchers, and all other used equipment in clean and sanitary condition, as well as proper working order (i.e., oiling wheels of such equipment).
- Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience:
Patient transportation or customer service experience - Certifications:
BLS
