* Supports administration and execution of human resources programs including but not limited to recruitment, compensation, benefits, performance management, and leaves of absence.
* Assists with the recruitment workflow: scheduling interviews, conducting background screens, employee eligibility/certification verifications, references as requested.
* Manages employee uniform/scrub orders.
* Manages pre-employment and onboarding processes including online assessments, pre-employment health screens, I-9 and eVerify compliance.
* Coordinates disability and workers’ compensation claims, working with insurance carrier and leave administrator.
* Handles HR-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate HRBP and/or manager.
* Maintains online employee personnel files, as well as ensuring related documents are also in the company’s HRIS (Workday).
* Updates org charts the first of each month ensuring data is accurate in HRIS system (Workday)
* Initiates HR-related purchase orders.
* Coordinates payroll changes for processing
* Processes tuition and fitness program reimbursements
* Processes employment verification requests
* Coordinates with various departments and lead for monthly newsletter(s).
* Coordinates employee activities/events
* Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
* Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
* Performs other duties as assigned.###
** POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE,
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS )
*** Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent experience.
* At least two (2) years’ related experience required.
* Knowledge of employment laws and HR professional practices
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
* Ability to act with integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Works well under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
* Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems, Workday and ADP Workforce Now a plus
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* Detail oriented and able to multi-task.
* Ability and willingness to travel as some domestic travel may be required.
* Ability to spend extension amount of time sitting, working on a computer.
* Ability to safely lift up to 10 pounds routinely, up to 25 pounds occasionally.
