As the Systems Administrator, you will be working within the I.T. Department planning, developing, and maintaining Beacon's internal computing and People Soft systems. Responsibilities will include:

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining People Soft development and test environments
• Monitoring system performance and administering services for all People Soft environments
• Providing general system administration support and maintenance on a variety of platforms
• Supporting both the development team and consulting organization; occasional client contact as needed
• Supporting internal end-users; troubleshooting problems related to the desktop, database, and applications
• Assisting in establishing and maintaining operational procedures including scheduled backups, remote access, space management, performance tuning, and system availability

• 5+ years experience in a computing environment
• 3+ years of experience supporting/administering People Soft Financials/HCM
• Experience with People Tools Installation and administration and Integration Broker setup
• Experience with planning and execution of migration controls and People Tools technical upgrades
• Knowledge of Windows 7, Server 2003/2008, Exchange 2010, Office 2007/2010, SharePoint 2010, and Microsoft Failover Cluster are preferred
• Ability to install and maintain RDBMS (Oracle 11g & SQL 2008 [clustered and un-clustered] preferred)
• Knowledge of Lenovo and Dell desktop environment including, but not limited to software installation, hardware setup, etc.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in computer science or telecommunications
