Scrum Master - Senior

Title: Sr. Scrum Master

Duration: 12+ Months

Location: 100% remote (must work EST hours; potential to collaborate with global teams in India and UK)

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Scrum Master to join our Compliance Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability solution delivery team. Acting as a servant‑leader, this role will be responsible for ensuring that the scrum team achieves its goals, has a deep understanding of Scrum and other agile practices, and applies core agile principles with a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Leverage agile scrum expertise to facilitate team ceremonies, scrum ceremonies, and PI planning events
• Lead the team's efforts in relentless improvement and facilitate the team's retrospective
• Coordinate with other teams and manage cross‑scrum team dependencies
• Remove roadblocks, including those beyond the team's authority or requiring support from other teams
• Ensure that goals, scope, and product domain are understood by everyone on the Scrum Team
• Define and manage timelines and scope using backlog refinement and agile scheduling techniques such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe
• Take initiative, wear multiple hats and partner with the team to deliver results as needed
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks
• Support release planning and execute release implementations
• Partner with the Product Owner to ensure product backlog items are refined, prioritized and scheduled
• Attention to detail and follow up
• Understand the team objectives and the solutions the team is working on
• Product safety, product recall, and compliance experience

Required skills, knowledge and experience:

• Demonstrated expertise serving a scrum master role for 10+ years
• Experience supporting multiple teams
• Experience managing external dependencies
• Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe)
• Agile SAFe certification
• Software development lifecycle (SDLC); working in an IT environment
• Ability to navigate a complex matrixed organization using influencing skills
• Ability to accommodate changing priorities, work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple concurrent deliverables
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
